Slave Zero are a band from Ireland that plays a very progressive from of death metal with elements of modern metal and this is a review of their ep "Disambiguated Visonary" which was released by Double Standard Productions.
"Mathematically Legitimate Solution" begins with avant garde sound effects and spoken word samples before adding in some heavy death metal guitar riffs and deep growls along with some high pitched screams and at times they are some shouting vocals being thrown into the song and towards the end synths and technical parts are added into the song as well as a small amount of blast beats.
"Limitless Peripheral Perspective" begins with some synths and spoken word parts and a very seconds alter heavy guitar riffs come in along with some growls and screams and towards the end the synths make a return to the music being adding in a small amount of blast beats.
"Embroidered Strategy Of Calculated Misrepresent" begins with heavy guitar riffs, drums and growls and then the song speeds up to a mid paced direction and adds in some screams and you can hear the bass guitars in t he background which leads up to some synths and melodic guitar solos and leads and the song closes with some atmospheric sounds.
"Oscillating Perceptions Of An Abstract Existence" begins with heavy guitar riffs, blast beats, growls and screams before going into a more mid paced direction and you can hear eleemnts of groove metal and hardcore in the song.
"Anthropic Landscape Theory" begins with some avant garde sound effects before adding in some heavy guitar and bass riffs along with some drums and then some hardcore style vocals kick in along with some death metal growls and screams and halfway through t he song atmospheric sounds and melodic guitar leads are added into the song a s well as a brief use of spoken word parts.
Song lyrics cover futuristic and scientific themes, while the production has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound to it.
In my opinion Slave Zero are a very great sounding progressive death metal band with elements of modern metal and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep.
